ACCEPTANCE OF THE OFFICIAL RULES: These terms are entered into by and between You and Dragon Con, Inc. (“DRAGON CON”, “we” or “us”). The following terms and conditions (these “Rules”), govern your access to and use of www.dragoncon.org/awards/, including any content, functionality and services offered on or through www.dragoncon.org/awards/ (the “Website”), whether as a guest or a registered user.
Please read the Rules carefully before you start to use the Website. By using the Website, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Rules. If you do not want to agree to these Rules, you must not access or use the Website.
Each time you access and/or use the Website, you agree to be bound by these Rules and any additional terms that will apply to you.

You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into the agreement set out in these Rules.
The information you give us must be correct to access this Website or some of the resources it has to offer, you may be asked to provide registration details. It is a condition of use of this Website that all the details you provide be correct, current, and complete. If we at DRAGON CON believe the details are not correct, current, or complete, we have the right to refuse you access to the Website, or any of its resources, and to terminate or suspend your account.
DRAGON CON reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of these Rules, including without limitation any violation arising from any entry you submit.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO VOTE. INTERNET ACCESS AND A VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER. The Dragon Award (“Award”) nomination period ends at 11:59 P.M. ET on July 19, 2024 (“Nomination Period”).
HOW TO NOMINATE: Go to www.dragoncon.org/awards// during the Nomination Period and submit nominations including your complete name and your primary e-mail address (“Entry” or “Entries”). One (1) nomination may be submitted in each of the categories. One (1) set of nominations is allowed per person. All Entries must be received by 11:59 P.M. ET on July 19, 2024.
DRAGON CON is not responsible for any problems or technical, hardware, or software malfunctions of any telephone network or telephone lines, failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Award, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or Entry to be received by the DRAGON CON due to technical problems, human error or traffic congestion, unavailable network connections on the Internet or at any DRAGON CON website, or any combination thereof, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to Entrant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Award or downloading any materials in this Award. By submitting an Entry, Entrant agrees to abide by the terms of these Rules and DRAGON CON’s privacy policy.
ONLINE VOTING: One (1) vote in each category is allowed per person. The most popular Entries, as determined by number of nomination submissions during the Nomination Period, will be featured on the Website between 9:00 A.M. ET on August 1, 2024 and 11:59 P.M. ET on September 2, 2024 (hereinafter, “Voting Period”). Voting shall occur in a manner as determined by DRAGON CON.
No automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of voting are permitted. Participants who do not comply with these Rules, or who attempt to interfere with the voting process or the operation of the Website in any way will be disqualified and their votes will not be counted. DRAGON CON reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend voting should any virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the voting process. All decisions regarding the voting process or acceptance of votes shall be final and shall not be subject to challenge or appeal.
SELECTION OF WINNERS: All decisions regarding the voting process and selection of winners shall be made by DRAGON CON in its sole discretion, shall be final, and shall not be subject to challenge or appeal
AWARDS AND THEIR APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: Winners will receive a trophy for their award. This has no monetary value.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: This Website and the materials contained therein are protected by copyrights, patents, trade secrets or other proprietary rights. Some of the characters, logos or other images incorporated on this Website are also protected as registered or unregistered trademarks, trade names and/or service marks owned by the nominees and finalists (“Trademarks”). DRAGON CON respects the intellectual property rights of others and asks users of this Website to do the same. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS: If, for any reason, this Award is not capable of running as planned by any cause which, in the sole opinion of the DRAGON CON, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Award, or, if due to any technical, production or other error, more prizes are claimed or awarded than are described in these Rules, DRAGON CON reserves the right, at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Award and determine the winners from entries received prior to the date such action is taken, or as otherwise deemed fair and equitable by DRAGON CON. All decisions of the DRAGON CON and its agents regarding the administration of this Award shall be final and binding. Your usernames and passwords for this Website are for your use only and you are responsible for their security. You may not tamper with the system for this Website or the accounts of others. Dragon Con Awards reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of these Rules. In order to use this Website, you must obtain access to the Internet and pay any related fees for same. We are not responsible for your access to the Website. Dragon Con Awards may modify or discontinue this Website at any time. Dragon Con Awards makes no representation that the Website is available for use outside of the United States. We are not responsible for third parties or their content, advertisements, apps or sites. Any area of this Website that is accessed through any proprietary online service is subject to the rules, policies and guidelines of such service.
You are prohibited from using any services or facilities provided in connection with this Website to compromise security or tamper with system resources and/or accounts. The use or distribution of tools designed for compromising security (e.g. password guessing programs, cracking tools or network probing tools) is strictly prohibited. If you become involved in any violation of system security, DRAGON CON reserves the right to release your details to system administrators at other sites in order to assist them in resolving security incidents.
DRAGON CON reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of these Rules, including without limitation any violation arising from any submission, posting or e-mails you make or send to any Forum. DRAGON CON may seek to gather information from the user who is suspected of violating these Rules, and from any other user. DRAGON CON may suspend any users whose conduct or postings anywhere are under investigation and may remove such material from its servers as it deems appropriate and without notice. If DRAGON CON believes, in its sole discretion, that a violation of these Rules has occurred, it may edit or modify any submission, posting or e-mails, remove the material permanently, cancel postings, warn users, suspend users and passwords, terminate accounts or take other corrective action it deems appropriate. DRAGON CON will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing DRAGON CON to disclose the identity of anyone posting any e-mails, or publishing or otherwise making available any materials that are believed to violate these Rules.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Neither DRAGON CON nor its agencies are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Website users, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Award and assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of the Website. DRAGON CON reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend access for any individual it finds may be tampering with the entry process or operation of this Award or Website, may be acting in violation of the terms of the Website or the Official Rules or may be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to threaten, abuse or harass any other person. Any attempt to deliberately damage any Website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Award is unlawful and subject to legal action by DRAGON CON or its agents.
If you have a dispute with a third party (including other users and/or merchants), you release DRAGON CON and our affiliates and subsidiaries, and our and their respective officers directors, employees, and agents from claims, demands, liabilities, costs or expenses and damages, actual and consequential of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes. In entering into this release, you expressly waive any protections (whether statutory or otherwise) to the extent permitted by applicable law, that would otherwise limit the coverage of this release to include only those claims which you may know or suspect to exist in your favor at the time of agreeing to this release.
DISPUTES/CHOICE OF LAW: By entering, each Entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Award or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by state or federal courts situated in Fulton County, Georgia (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation lost profits may be awarded (collectively, “Special Damages”), and (4) entrant hereby waives all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased. Georgia state law, without reference to Georgia’s choice of law rules, governs the Award and all aspects related thereto. If any of the provisions of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in force, unless, in the sole discretion of DRAGON CON, such invalidity or unenforceability defeats or undermines the purpose of the Award, in which case DRAGON CON reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Award.
PRIVACY POLICY: Personal information collected by DRAGON CON during the administration of this Award may be used by DRAGON CON to contact Entrants regarding DRAGON CON’s products or services, for its marketing purposes, in conjunction with executing the terms of this Sweepstakes.
